PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Town of Granada, Colorado, duly adopted Ordinance No. 2026-012 following second reading by title on August 12, 2026, entitled:
βAN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR AUTOMATED VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION SYSTEMS (AVIS) IN THE TOWN OF GRANADA, COLORADO.β
The ordinance establishes regulations governing the use of Automated Vehicle Identification Systems (AVIS) for traffic enforcement within the Town of Granada. The ordinance includes provisions concerning notices of violation, civil penalties, signage requirements, designated enforcement corridors, data retention, vendor compensation, and related administrative procedures.
First Reading: July 8, 2026
Second Reading and Final Adoption: August 12, 2026
Copies of the ordinance are available for public inspection at Granada Town Hall during normal business hours and are posted as required by Town procedure and applicable law.
